GREYSON X DETROIT LIONS

In 2023, we launched our first official collaboration with an NFL organization, our hometown team, The Detroit Lions. Our partnership has stretched throughout the season so far, kicking off with a four piece metallic collection for the Detroit Lions home opener on September 17th, 2023. Three weeks later, for their home game against the Carolina Panthers, we released The Blackout Collection, which featured two black hoodies and a black t-shirt with blacked-out chenille patch logos, printed motifs, and embroidered icons. For Thanksgiving, we delivered a limited edition hoodie featuring a chenille patch vintage Lions Logo on its chest. As the regular season came to a close, the Lions clinched an NFC North Division Championship, meaning the team will be hosting their first round playoff game at their home stadium, Ford Field. Our final installment with the Detroit Lions of the 2023 season has been delivered in the form of another limited edition hoodie, the Built For This Fireside Hoodie.

GREYSON X DETROIT LIONS BUILT FOR THIS FIRESIDE HOODIE

For our fourth and final delivery of the 2023 season with the Detroit Lions, we introduced the Built For This Fireside Hoodie in honor of the team’s NFC North Championship and playoff berth. The Built For This Fireside Hoodie presents a white heavyweight hooded sweatshirt with a Detroit Lions logo on the Kangaroo pocket, a word mark logo on its chest, and a Greyson Icon motif on the right sleeve. The back of the hoodie features an illustrated portrait of the Lions home stadium, Ford Field, with Lions perched on the roof of the stadium and several wolves prowling the streets. Officially released on Friday, January 12th, 2024, the Greyson Clothiers x Detroit Lions Built For This Fireside Hoodie was made available two days before the team’s first game of the 2023 post-season.

GREYSON X DETROIT LIONS ALL GRIT FIRESIDE HOODIE

As is tradition, the Detroit Lions will be playing at Ford Field on Thanksgiving. The third delivery of our partnership with the Detroit Lions introduces the All Grit Fireside Hoodie. Presented in our signature navy shade of Maltese, the All Grit Fireside Hoodie features a vintage logo chenille patch on its chest with printed motifs on the back and sleeves. The hoodie’s vintage logo is a reimagined chenille version of the Detroit Lions’ first-ever logo, originally debuted in 1934 and chosen to embody the storied history and tradition of the organization. The message on the back of the hoodie depicts Greyson and the Detroit Lions’ shared values, reading, “This story is just beginning. It is about fight, heart, grit & finishing what you start with pride mentality.” Our collaborative All Grit Fireside Hoodie will be made available online and in-stadium on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023.

GREYSON X DETROIT LIONS BLACKOUT COLLECTION

Our second collaborative assortment with the Detroit Lions introduced three new styles in all black designs. Two hoodies led the three piece capsule, providing logo-adorned sweatshirts in both men’s and women’s silhouettes. The Detroit Lions Fireside Hoodie, one of our favorite pieces from the collaboration as a whole, presents our heavyweight hooded sweatshirt with a black chenille Lions logo on its chest and a printed Detroit motif on its back. This collection also included a black Alpha Slub T-shirt with Detroit Lions and Greyson Clothiers logos and motifs printed on the chest and back.

GREYSON X DETROIT LIONS METALLIC COLLECTION

For our inaugural collaborative release with the Detroit Lions, we presented signature Greyson styles, from the Cokato Hoodie to the Sequoia Jogger, in metallic silver. The full capsule included four pieces, all of which were adorned in reflective silver vintage Detroit Lions logos. The collection’s Guide Sport Quarter-Zip has been the most popular piece released as a part of our collaboration so far, with the Metallic Silver Detroit Lions Cokato Hoodie ranking second. With the majority of the capsule’s offering in active styles, our second and third deliveries introduced a more prominent lifestyle feel.
